First Birthday

We celebrated a First birthday last month. These are some of our closest friends and "K" is so easy to photograph! I mean, look at that face, those eyes, and those cheeks! You can't help but gush over her. Happy First Birthday Sweet Girl!

Red Top Mountain

When I start to wish we were living in Florida, I am reminded by nature that I should be grateful of the beauty that surrounds us in Georgia. We took the kids up to Red Top Mountain, which is only about 30 minutes North, hoping to catch the last glimpse of colorful leaves. This was still early, about 9 a.m.; a beautiful start to a glorious fall day!

About me ...

I have always been creative. I've always admired "artsy" people. As a kid, I took painting, drawing and in high school, photography classes. I've always been the one with a camera but it wasn't until I became a mom that I got a DSLR and wanted to really learn how to use it. Every single day is so precious and the years go by so fast. I wanted to have good pictures of my kids. Then a few friends asked if I would take pictures of their kids. I am not a professional; this is a hobby, a passion for me. I would love to do this one day as a career but I am not ready to make that commitment, I am not ready to own a business. My priorities right now are my kids. But when I look at a photo that captured a beautiful moment, I get a big smile across my face!
